How to cut a mango

  1. Using your non-dominant hand, hold the mango vertically over a cutting board. Use a knife to cut off the two "cheeks" around the large pit in the middle.
  2. Score the inside of the mango vertically and horizontally, making sure not to cut through the skin.
  3. Press the back side so the flesh pokes out, like in the image above.
  4. Use a knife to trim the pieces off.
  5. Cut around the large oval pit. Remove the skin and dice the remaining flesh of the mango.
  6. Suck on the juicy pit over the sink before tossing.

How to store

Store the mango salsa in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 2 - 3 days tops. We recommend consuming withing 1-2 days after making it for best taste, texture and color.
