Sangria Tinto

Spanish Red Wine Sangria

Ingredients

  • 1 bottle wine
  • 1 orange
  • 1 lemon
  • 1 apple
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1-2 tbsp sugar organic white

Instructions

  • Slice oranges and place them in your pitcher with the sugar. Mash the oranges with a spoon or muddler to extract the juice and mix with sugar.
  • Slice the lemon and dice the apple, add that to the pitcher along with the whole cinnamon stick.
  • Add the wine, mix, and refrigerate for a few hours before serving, preferably overnight.

Notes

For a higher alcohol content, feel free to add vermouth, brandy, cognac or orange liqueur. If we have it at home, we like to add a splash of triple sec.
