French Vinaigrette Dressing

One of the simplest and tastiest dressings that's perfect for salads, wraps and subs!

I watched someone make this in France and since then it has become my go-to salad dressing. It's prepared in little to no time and tastes tangy, sweet and light, making this a perfect anytime dressing.

Ingredients

  • Dijon mustard
  • Olive oil
  • Red wine vinegar
  • Salt and pepper

How to make French vinaigrette dressing

Combine equal parts Dijon mustard, red wine vinegar, and olive oil into a bowl. Mix until all the ingredients have been combined (pictured above). Salt and pepper to taste and that's it!

How to store

Store the vinaigrette in a sealed container in the fridge for 1-2 weeks.

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • ¼ cup Dijon mustard
  • ¼ cup red wine vinegar
  • ¼ tsp salt or to taste
  • ¼ tsp black pepper or to taste

Instructions

  • Combine ¼ cup olive oil, ¼ cup Dijon mustard, ¼ cup red wine vinegar, ¼ tsp salt, and ¼ tsp black pepper in a bowl or shake it in a tightly sealed jar to emulsify.
  • Store in an airtight container in the the fridge for 1-2 weeks.
