- Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- Fresh Garlic Cloves


Equipment
- 1 pot
- 1 knife
- 1 cutting board
- 1 sealed container to store the oil
Ingredients
- 1 cup Extra virgin olive oil
- 4 cloves Garlic fresh
Instructions
- Prep: Use the side of your knife to mash the garlic cloves and peel them. Let them stand for at least 10 minutes before using.
- Cook: Add the oil and garlic to a pot on low-medium heat. Keep an eye on the garlic to avoid burning. Let it cook for 5 minutes.
- Rest: Turn off the stove, cover pot with lid, and set it aside for 1 hour to allow the flavors to develop.
- Store: Remove the garlic cloves, transfer oil to an airtight container and store in your fridge.
Notes
Letting garlic rest after crushing or chopping allows the garlic to fully develop in flavor and health benefits.
