White Wine Sangria

A light white wine fruit punch

What Does White Wine Sangria Taste Like?

Similar to red wine sangria, it's essentially a wine fruit punch cocktail. It's soft and lightly sweetened by the fruits. It can take many different forms depending on the kind of wine and fruit being used, but for the most part this is a fairly simple and flexible recipe that makes for a perfect light summer cocktail.

What Wine to Use?

We're not big wine connoisseurs, so we believe the best wines are the old open bottles you already have or the cheap ones you can get for a few bucks.

Keep in mind, not all wines are vegan.

Ingredients

  • white wine
  • strawberry
  • apple
  • nectarine
  • grapes
  • apple juice
  • vermouth, triple sec, or vodka optional if you want more punch

How to Make White Wine Sangria

White wine sangria is a simple cocktail recipe that can be easily modified to your liking. Use fruits you enjoy and toss them in with some white wine and fruit juice. If you prefer to have more alcohol mix in a little triple sec and vodka.

How to Serve

Pour into a glass of your choice making sure to add in some fruit pieces. We like to add in some frozen grapes, helps keep the drink cold without watering it down. Also, if you haven't tried frozen grapes, give them a go. They get such a nice crunch when frozen and makes for a delicious snack, especially in the hot summer.
